The Bongiorno Group Women in Medicine Grant supports women doctors in Victoria and Tasmania who are nearing completion of specialty training or are in their early years of Fellowship. The grant funds learning and knowledge-sharing initiatives that contribute to gender equity in medicine while supporting meaningful career development.
Funding may be used across a broad range of activities, including research, conference presentation, skills development, mentoring and advocacy. Eligible applicants are women medical doctors who are members of an Australian Medical Council–recognised specialist medical college, in their final three years of training or first three years post-Fellowship, and who live, train or primarily practise in Victoria or Tasmania.
