The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing (department) has released the 2026 health provider compliance priorities.
The priorities outline key areas where the department will focus compliance efforts over the coming year and reflect the commitment to act and protect Medicare integrity. The priorities also align with, and are supported by, the Health Provider Compliance Strategy 2025–30, which outlines the risk based and proportionate approach to compliance.
