Nominations now open for the Educator of Merit Awards 2025
The Academy of Surgical Educators is seeking nominations of SET and SIMG supervisors, and RACS course instructors – nominations close at 5pm on Friday 9 May.
The Academy of Surgical Educators’ Educator of Merit Awards were created to honour and celebrate the extraordinary contributions of surgical educators across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. This year, we proudly embrace the theme “Shine a Light” which highlights the transformative power of education in shaping the future of surgery.
These awards celebrate educators who are not only masters in their field but who also inspire, challenge, and empower future surgical leaders. Their dedication shapes the standards of care in our region, impacting aspiring surgeons and ensuring the highest level of expertise in the medical community.
