2025 Election - Board of Directors
Two (2) current Directors are required to retire by rotation at the 2025 General Surgeons Australia Annual General Meeting, and have offered themselves for re-election for a further three years.
One (1) current Director retires at the 2025 General Surgeons Australia Annual General Meeting.
A total of five (5) nominations have been received for the three (3) vacancies for elected members of the Board of General Surgeons Australia. In accordance with rule 11.2.5 of the Constitution: If the number of nominations exceeds the number of vacancies to be filled, the Society shall hold a ballot.

TrueVote has been engaged to conduct the ballot independently. All votes submitted through their systems are anonymised and secure.
Voting will open at 12:00pm (midday) on Wednesday 26 March 2025 (ADST) and will close at 12:00pm (midday) on Thursday 17 April 2025 (AEST).

The results of the election will be announced at the Annual General Meeting on Sunday 4 May 2025, in Sydney.
