GSA congratulates Dr Kate Martin AM on her Australia Day Honours appointment as a Member of the Order of Australia.

For significant service to medicine, particularly trauma care and surgery, and to professional associations.
Dr Martin is the current President of Australian and New Zealand Association for the Surgery of Trauma (ANZAST) and a foundation Committee member of the GSA PFET Program in Trauma Surgery.
