This survey aims to determine Australian Surgeons understanding and education levels of providing care to transgender patients.
about the survey
Our survey seeks understanding of surgical doctors knowledge on caring for transgender patients. There are two survey links – one for medical students, interns, residents and registrars, and one for consultant surgeons.
There is no information Australia wide about how we as doctors are trained to look after transgender patients and we hope by conducting this survey we can understand better how doctors are trained to care for this important group of patients.
