General Surgeons Australia is the designated training body for specialised General Surgical training and the representing membership society for Consultant General Surgeons within Australia.

Our key objective is to ensure the provision of high quality, comprehensive Specialist General Surgical services – including emergency and planned services – to the Australian community; we continue to achieve this through continually-evolving specialist training, and medical education, research, and advocacy for our members.
