Doctors Retreat – Be Chill CPD

Dr Susannah Ward, a Specialist Physician in Rehabilitation Medicine, and chair of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians’s Member Health & Wellbeing Committee, and Wellbeing Advocates webinar series has founded the Ataraxia Collective, a continuing professional development (CPD) and wellbeing community.

This community is for doctors, including retreats designed to help doctors meaningfully meet their AHPRA CPD requirements — while promoting a more holistic, nurturing and supportive medical culture.

Each retreat is aligned with the AHPRA/MBA Professional Performance Framework and, with full attendance, allows delegates to accrue 12 CPD hours — 2 hours of Educational Activities, 5 hours of Reviewing Performance (including a professional conversation and professional development plan), and 5 hours of Measuring Outcomes — with cultural safety, professional behaviours and ethics embedded throughout. Attendees receive a participation certificate to self-report to their CPD home.

The next retreat, Be Chill CPD — a doctors’ CPD and wellbeing retreat focused on stress management and burnout prevention — is being held 13–15 November 2026 at Caves Beach, NSW, and tickets are still available
