This webinar will demonstrate how international evidence and national standards can be translated into improved care for emergency laparotomy patients in Australia. The webinar will include presentations from the chair of the UK National Emergency Laparotomy Audit (NELA) and Chief Medical Officer of the Australian Commission on Safety in Health Care who recently launched their Emergency Laparotomy Clinical Care Standards.
Attendees will gain an understanding as to how benchmarking, clinical standards, and quality improvement initiatives can drive meaningful improvements in patient outcomes.
